Music is a great and glorious gift from God! We believe that if there is to be great music in the world, there is no place more appropriate than in the church. CPC is committed to musical excellence as our appropriate offering to God in worship. We believe the purpose of music in worship is to lead and assist the congregation in celebrating the liturgy for the day, proclaiming the Gospel, and experiencing the Word. It is our hope and prayer that God will be glorified and all people encouraged and lifted up through the beauty and joy of music in our worship.

Chancel Choir
CPC’s Chancel Choir sings a wide variety of beautiful sacred music from classical, spiritual, folk and contemporary styles, including works from composers and arrangers such as Dan Forrest, Hal Hopson, Craig Courtney, Virgil Thomson, Natalie Sleeth, George Stone, Arlington & Willcocks, and Leach & Hayes. The choir sings two or three times in worship each month. Choir rehearsals are every other Thursday at 7pm in the choir room, with occasional extra rehearsals for special music services. 9/21/2025 anthem
CPC Ringers
The CPC Ringers ring a variety of music using a 3-octave set of Schulmerich Handbells and a 2-octave set of Schulmerich MelodyChimes. Ringing music by Jason W. Krug, Sandra Eithun and Michael Helman, the CPC Ringers implement multiple ringing techniques. Directed by CPC’s Organist and Music Coordinator, Kyle Pedrick, this fun group of musicians rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 5:00 p.m. and rings in services about once a month.
