Children’s Summer Music Camp
Part of a new and growing vision for music and arts programming at CPC.
Experience a week where music comes to life! Our Summer Choir Camp offers young singers (Grades 3–8) a unique blend of professional vocal training and summer camp fun. Whether your child is a budding soloist or loves singing in a group, they will find their voice here.
"I’ve got the music down in my soul!" To us, this is more than just a song title—it is our mission. We believe that music shouldn't just be read from a page; it should be felt. This summer, we invite your child to move beyond the notes and discover a lifelong passion for performance.

What to expect
🗓️ Camp Details
Dates: July 13 (Mon) – July 17 (Fri), 2026
Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily (Lunch and T- Shirt will be Provided!)
Ages: Grades 3–5 & Grades 6–8 (Groups separated by age for tailored instruction)
Grand Finale Concert: July 17 (Fri) 4:00 pm Concert followed with dinner or an ice cream truck
Fees: $35
The Experience
Our camp is designed to build confidence, skill, and lasting friendships. Your child’s week includes:
1:1 Private Voice Lessons: Personalized coaching to help every singer shine.
Choral Artistry: Learning high-level repertoire from Handel to Moses Hogan.
Dynamic Choreography: Putting music in motion!
Community & Play: Daily games, team-building, and provided lunches.
Professional Instruction & Personalized Tracks
Our camp is designed to build confidence through tailored, one-on-one attention. Every student works directly with our expert faculty to prepare for their moment in the spotlight.
The Private Lesson Experience
Every camper will have the opportunity to work 1:1 with our Voice & Piano Faculty. Students can choose their own path:
Voice Track: Choose a favorite solo or duet to polish with our voice instructors.
Piano Track: Bring a piano piece to refine with our piano faculty.
Performance: These individual and small-group pieces will be a highlight of our Sunday Recital!
*If you aren’t sure which piece you would like to work on in 1:1 lesson, faculty members can also send you some suggestions.
The Choral Experience
In addition to private lessons, students will engage in choral singing, high-energy choreography, games, and friendship-building activities.
The Finale: "Music Down in My Soul"
Join us on July 17th 4:00pm for our Showcase Recital! "I’ve got the music down in my soul!" This simple phrase is the heartbeat of our camp.
After a week of rehearsals and private lessons, our performers move the music off the page and into their hearts.
The recital takes you on a journey through classical elegance, rhythmic playfulness, and the vibrant "Colors of the Rainbow," culminating in a powerful combined performance of Moses Hogan’s famous spiritual. It’s an afternoon of music that moves—because when the music gets "down in the soul," you can't help but sing along!
Looking Ahead: The Music Academy
This camp is just the beginning! Our Summer Camp serves as the perfect "sneak peek" into our Fall 2026 Children & Youth Music Academy. By joining us this July, your student will be fast-tracked for our year-round programs, building a foundation of musical excellence and community connection that lasts a lifetime.
