Nursery Attendant Wanted!

Colesville Presbyterian Church is seeking to hire a warm, loving, and enthusiastic adult to care for babies and toddlers in our Nursery on Sunday mornings from 8:45 to 11:45.  Additional hours may be required during special after-church events.  The number of children is currently small and there must be two attendants present at all times.

We are seeking someone over 21 with either babysitting experience, teaching background, or child development training.  The position requires Red Cross CPR certification or Red Cross Babysitting Certification which may be taken online. Certification may be completed within 30 days of hire is not yet qualified.  The church will pay for the course.

The salary is hourly and depends on experience and references.  Sick leave is accrued based on hours worked. Bonuses are given after a year of employment.  Individuals must agree to a background check for the safety of the children and peace of mind of parents.  The ability to converse in clear English with children and parents is necessary.  French or Spanish language skills are a plus.
