C-4 Clothes Closet
The C-4 Clothes Closet is located in the old Colesville Elementary School on New Hampshire Avenue. The ‘drop off’ place for donated clothing is in twin locked sheds, attached to the exterior of the building. Clothes must be transferred from these ‘sheds’ to the building’s interior on a daily basis to keep the system flowing smoothly.
VOLUNTEERS
To meet our congregation’s staffing share at the Clothes Closet, CPC is assigned the months of March and September to assist in sorting donated clothes. In recent years, we have been falling short of sorters in those months. Three CPC members, Harry Power, Donna Hankey –Woods and Yo Seltzer invariably do sorting at C-4 on a weekly basis, year round and would love your company! If you would be willing to help empty sheds on Thursday afternoons, or sort clothes on a weekday morning, call Harry or Dee Power at (301) 384-1612. Our community and our church would both benefit!
