THE HIGH SCHOOL LEADER TEAM

 

High School Mission Trip:

 

Becky Spada Clapp is a 22 year member of CPC who began her service with our church as a HS youth leader in the early 90’s, and as a Sunday School teacher.  She is also a member of our adult choir and an ordained elder.  She has a daughter Allison whom she and her husband Rick have raised at CPC and who served last year as a youth elder. 

 

Marguerite Tom-Wigfield is a 21 year member of CPC who began her service with our church teaching several grades of Sunday School,  and serving as a HS youth leader in the mid 90’s.   She was the accompanist for the original youth choirs.  She is an ordained deacon and elder.    She and her husband Allan have a son Dennis and daughter Noelle.

 

Montreat Conference:

 

Tim Stufft is a 3 year member of CPC who began his service with our church as a guest speaker for the middle, high school and adult Sunday school classes, and as a chaperone on various youth activities.  He was also one of the coordinators of the 2009 Suppers 4 Seven.  Currently, he is living in Moscow with wife, Julie, and children Ollie and Norah.

 

Cindy Todd is a 4 year member of CPC who is an active participant and coordinator in the mission work of our church.  She is also a member of our Handbell Choir, and is a current serving elder on session chairing the Mission Ministry.

 

HS Bible Study:

 

Dennis Tom-Wigfield is a child of CPC beginning with his infancy in the church nursery.  An active participant as a youth in church activities and trips, he returns as a Youth Leader.  He is a senior at the UofMD, active in the Campus Ministry, and preparing for graduate school in Physical Therapy.

 

Noelle Tom-Wigfield is also a child of CPC beginning with her infancy in the church nursery. Having served her senior year as the youth elder on session and the youth council, she returns as a Youth Leader.  She is beginning her 2nd year in the College Park Scholars Program ‘Earth, Life & Time’, and participates in the Campus Ministry at UofMD.

 

Interim Pastoral Associate Aaron Frank and Marguerite Tom-Wigfield will also be leading Bible Study with Dennis and Noelle.

HS Sunday School:

Paul Schaudies began teaching the High School class in 1986. He is an ordained deacon and elder.  Paul and his wife, Sue, have organized many social events for adults and youth, including the former Baby Boomers Fellowship.  The youth provide a continued enthusiasm for Paul and he enjoys their insight and energyPaul and Sue have two children, Meredith and Jonathan who are both in college this year.

Doreen Robinson Sheehy is a 7 year member of CPC who began her 7 years of service as a Sunday school teacher for younger children before moving over to the high school class to teach with Paul Schaudies.  Both of her sons Michael and Christopher are members of the class.  Doreen has been a creative and energetic fund raiser for the High School Mission trip.  She and her husband Paul have three boys, Michael, Christopher and Brendan.
