North Foyer Renovation
Colesville Presbyterian Church recently adopted a set of action initiatives that would make our church more attractive, accessible, energy efficient, and safe. Earlier improvements included new parking lot lighting, improved interior signage, new accessible bathrooms on the lower level, and a new fire alarm system. The final aspect of the improvements was to renovate the north foyer which is a main entry to the church. That project is in the final stages of completion, and the new interior provides a bright and inviting entry into the church.
The improvements that you will notice include:
- new energy efficient windows
- extensions on the hand rails for added safety in both stairwells
- new lighting, build-in storage cabinet, and display area
- new drywall with paint and trim
- new carpeting in the foyer and sanctuary
- new entry doors (The stained glass panels from the old entry doors are being restored and will be hung on the side glass windows when they are completed.)
- new entry doors to the sanctuary and office areas that are fire code compliant.
Thanks to all who financially supported these improvements through gifts to the building fund. We extend a warm welcome to all who come to Colesville Presbyterian Church.
