Youth Ministries
The Youth Ministry Team of CPC will develop a strong and nurturing leadership program where youth and adult advisors can discover and claim their gifts for youth ministry by:
1) Empowering youth through worship, mission, Youth Council, and other ministry opportunities to live Christ centered lives and to be leaders in the church--both now and in the future.
2) Organizing diverse, creative and engaging activities that appeal to a broad range of youth.
3) Communicating the teachings of Christ in fresh and exciting ways
4) Collaborating across age groups to create a community that celebrates individuality and respects diverse gifts
5) Reaching out to youth in the community and on the fringes of CPC church life.
6) Strengthening communication and fostering interaction between youth, advisors, and families; and encouraging all members of the youth groups to take ownership for one another--as individuals, and as a community.
