New Members Classes
FALL CLASSES ARE SCHEDULED FOR:

OCTOBER 26
NOVEMBER 2
NOVEMBER 16
(no class on Nov. 9 due to the mission trip to Pittsburgh)

New Members Classes are offered two times a year for those interested in learning more about CPC and membership to the church. Typically, classes are offered 4 Sundays in a row from 9:45-10:45am with topics exploring personal spiritual journeys, discovery of one's own spiritual gifts, explanations of the 'government' of presbyterian churches, and the spirit of life at CPC. These classes also offer an opportunity to meet some of the elders in the church and to hear about their team ministries.
Classes culminate with a formal vote by session, to the 'formal' welcoming and introduction of the newer members during the church service, followed by a reception where new members are able to meet more of the CPC church family.
All new members are assigned a deacon and a new member mentor.
